About CHRUCDC
Mission Statement
The Center for Health Research in Developing Countries and Underserved Communities (CHRDCUC) is a Not-for-Profit corporation registered in Canada since 2021. CHRDCUC’s mission statement is “ Building a Healthier World through Research and Action.” Aided by contracts from the World Health Organization and foundations like the Li-Ka Shing Foundation CHRDCUC has engaged in research activities uncovering important insight into emerging diseases in Africa.

The goal at CHRUCDC is to conduct epidemiological health research and health data collection with emphasis on underserved communities and developing countries. Gathering health related information for clinical and research purposes in both areas is often strenuous with varying degrees of accuracy. We hope to improve upon current research and data collection for these areas, utilizing tailored methods that prioritize respect, mindfulness, and privacy of all participants. The main focuses of our health research include:

-
Emerging and On-going Epidemics
-
Rift Valley Fever
-
Monkeypox
-
COVID-19
-
Infectious Diseases
-
Comorbidities

In addition to health research, CHRUCDC is also dedicated to providing accurate information and resources regarding these topics (such as COVID-19); making sure all information is up-to-date, easy to access, and readily available.
